Nutrition
Our centre is a nut-free environment. we provide children with food choices that are nutritious and delicious. Children are welcome to bring their own food or supplement their meals. We simply ask that families avoid bringing processed and prepackaged foods, and that all outside food is labelled with your child’s name.
Children with allergies or dietary restrictions, parents are responsible to provide the food for his/her child.
- Water will be served/offered at all meals.
- 2% Milk will be served to Toddlers and Preschoolers.
- All bread, crackers, rice, and pasta served will be whole wheat unless otherwise notated.
- Recipes are available in kitchen/and Classroom for review and copy
- On occasion there are supply and product irregularities in which case the menu is subject to change, all menu changes will be posted.
- Fresh fruit served at all snacks and lunches.
- The last Friday of every month will be "Special Treat."
